One of my little house babies has a cold.  We brought her in last Sunday because she was standing in the pen all hunched up and looking miserable.  Already had 3 in the house so she fit right in.  She's doing pretty good - except for her nose.  It's

Question: Can DE be used for goats to elimnate parasites instead of a dewormer? I was talking to my dad about parasite problems, and he said "Why don't we just get them some DE?" Would that work? I guess I'm kind of confused by that. If you can use i

Shedding...

My doe has started really shedding lately and I'm concerned it might be some sort of mineral deficiency.  The weather was relatively warm for the past few weeks so I thought maybe it was just because of that...but her skin seems dry, like she has som

Safe Guard

I used to use Safeguard, but realized it was not working when I would still find white eyelids. But I just read a different dosage on it and am wondering if this why it wouldn't work for me.

For my goats, I would just do 1.2 cc per 50 pounds. But t
