Could someone explain milking records?  How do you measure #'s of milk and how is butterfat measured?  I would think it would be good to know.

If you do keep milking records - how is that documented and how do you obtain stars and letters. and wha

Hello, may I get an idea of how much colostrum everyone likes to take from a doe, (not a first freshener), to freeze and have on hand for next years kidding?  When do you like to collect it and how much so you are not taking too much from the newborn

Twins

My doe Millie was acting completely normal yesterday so I really didn't think too much about her going into labor.  I checked on her several times through out the day and was letting her be out with everyone since it was a beautiful day in Colorado!

Bald Spot on Doe

This is a picture of my doe Cupcake's bald spot.  She's had this spot for a while (I'd say 6 weeks).   There are no other bald spots, and no fishtail.  It's just this spot, and it isn't getting any bigger.  My hubby thinks it's from her butting heads
