De-lice - parasites

I was wondering if any one uses Python insecticide dust, Co-Ral or Diatomaceous Earth as a parasite control and which one is the best and how often should you use it?  Also is the Diatomaceous Earth the same as the one used in pools (white power)?

We did it!!!!
