Kidding (436)

Post partum bleeding?

I just went to check the goats and when Twonkie squatted to pee I noticed it was red. I can't remember actually noticing what her pee has looked like before today after having baby.  Is it normal for them to pee blood after having a kid?

She didn't

Sad day

Iris delivered 5 doelings this morning but only one was born alive and she didn't make it. I had to go in after the last one. Iris seems to be all right but tired.

No wonder I thought she was big enough to deliver in December.

Urgent: Mama not doing well

I have a friend a couple of hours away who has a goat that kidded on Friday.  It was a somewhat difficult delivery.  The first kid was breech and my friend had to stretch the doe out and then help get the little guy out, but he lived.  Then a doeling
