It's been a while since I've been on here, so I thought I'd stop by to say "hi!" and catch up. :)
So, roll call? When does your kidding season start and how many does are you expecting to deliver? Do you have any that look like they may have big litters this year?
Mine will begin in February and I have four does who will be kidding. Well, four and a half because I'm currently housing a LaMancha doe for my friend. I'm not sure if she'll still be here in May when she's due or not (and I haven't confirmed her pregnancy yet either, but I'll find out soon).
I have one who had an ultrasound, so I know she has at least two in there. I think it's probably only the two. The rest were confirmed by blood test so I have no idea how many they're hiding, but I'm guessing no more than 3 for any of them. One of them I know routinely only has one or two so I'm waiting to see if she'll surprise me for her final kidding. She'll turn 10 this year and will be entering into retirement -- which means she'll probably have a single buck, of course! ;)

My first kidding is two girls are due March 8th. The rest are spread out over April and May.
We had our first lambs this week. My ewe had triplets. Babies were a good size and she has needed a lot of extra care as she went down hill pretty bad the week before birthing. I was pretty worried about her but she is slowly bouncing back. Her lambs are always so beautiful. I will post a photo after I figure out how to work with them on our new computer.

This is my first kidding season. I have two ff's. Both are due mid-March. One is huge already and I hope I don't end up with bottle babies. I didn't even give bottles to my own babies, just plugged them in and went back to sleep, so I'm kind of spoiled.

I keep watching and waiting! The suspense is killing me! Thought for sure another one would go by now. Prayers for my ff. The others are experienced.
She is a FF and will be 3 yr. when she kids. She lost her pregnancy last year, early on.
I used a stethoscope this a.m. And actually confirmed her pregnancy. -). I heard a strong heartbeat and actually felt the kid kicking around!
Oy! You might wind up with a few bottle babies!

My 4th kidding season and one doe is due THIS WEEK and is HUGE. So excited to see if we get our first quads! Of course we have our "big one" snowstorm coming this weekend so that's probably when she'll deliver. Hope I have some help! Then I have 2 more pregnant and 2 more to breed. I really like having 5 does... it really feels like a HERD :)
Most interesting, we helped someone get started in their mini-guernsey program - 2 does bred, 2 pregnant! Hope she gets gold as she wants!!! Buck was a buckskin, polled so we shall see!
Well, my doe didn't come back into heat this time after being bred - unlike the other times I've bred her. But that's all I'm saying because I don't want to jinx it. *tosses salt over my shoulder*
