These gross dirty people are in town. I want them to get away and leave my goats and I alone. It will really tick me off if I find any trying to steal any of my goats or horses or any of the other animals. My town has a population of 8,000 people and there is suppose to be 20,000 to 25,000 Rainbows by the 4th of July here in town. That is WAY too many people for me to handle...especially disgusting people like them.
I got a call this morning from one of the Rainbows wanting to buy my nubian nigerian dwarf buck and this is how the call went:
Me: Hello
Rainbow: Hi I was wondering if your goat is still available?
Me: Yeah...the nubian nigerian dwarf one on craigslist?
Rainbow: Yeah! Well I am one of the Rainbows coming down to Dillon here in the next couple of days and I would like to pick him up.
Me: Uhhh...what are you using him for???
Rainbow: Well we have a goat camp set up in the Rainbow camp and they are all just pets for us to have around.
Me: I raise breeding stock goats and he needs to be used for breeding!!!!
Rainbow: Oh so hes agressive?
Me: Oh yes VERY!!! (Not really)
Rainbow: Oh okay...I will talk to the other Rainbows and we will try to figure something out and I will call you back in a couple days.
Me: K whatever!! 'Click'

We went and drove through the Rainbow Gathering on the 4th...I would have to say it was quiet interesting. Just disgusted me though and there was about 10,000 up there when I was. Some weren't too bad and most were sooooo wacked...most are on drugs. There was garbage laying all over the mountain and they wanted us to take it out for them. They also had a sign up that said "back massages for donations" which is when prostitution takes place up there. I didn't step out of the truck once...they scared too bad. lol
As we were pulling into the camp a guy walked up to my dad and said, "if you park u need to park at least 5 feet off the road." My dad said, "yeah well I pay taxes." The guy turned around and walked away because he couldn't say n0thin back to that.
As we drove by this one guy he asked my dad, "hey can I have a ride?" My dad was like, "no, sorry we are full." The guy was like, "u better be"
There was even more and I have pics that I will post a.s.a.p. :)
My sister works at the vet clinic here in town and one of the rainbows came in with a dog because it got into a fight and was really beat up. The Rainbow only had $20 which was enough to uthenize so thats what they ended up doing. The Rainbow tracked in all sorts of mud into the vet clinic.
Today in the Safeway parking lot there were a bunch of Rainbows hangin out and one had a dog with it. The dog was laying on the ground and then we noticed...it was having puppies. How terrible.
Again in the Safeway parking lot the Rainbows had a sign up "need $10 for tobacco" thats pretty gutsy there.
I know...all the goat theft is horrible!! Yes thank you Amy I will do that!!
I have been a little concerned here lately with all of the goat theft going on. I would be sure to have good photographs of all of your animals in the case that some were stolen. Make sure that they have tattoos and that you can actually read them. Just in case!
Exactly!! That does not give our world peace when they have that kind of behavior. I do understand that there might be a few out there that arnt so bad and that actually do promote peace, love, and nonviolence and those ones I dont mind so much. But when all the other ones do all the bad stuff iv been mentioning..thats horrible and I lose all my respect for those kind of people. One of my pet peeves are when people lie telling me that they will be using the goat as a pet when they are actually eating it after I say NO SLAUGHTER. If they cant afford to feed themselves..they most deffinetly wont be able to feed a goat. I am most deffinetly not against slaughter..I am actually buying a meet goat this year to butcher. I havnt eatin goat yet but iv heard that its good so I cant wait!! lol
For people supposedly promoting peace, love, and nonviolence, they don't sound like they practice what they preach! I would be wary as well.
Thank you for posting that link Rachel. We have cops down here from Arizona now. These Rainbows are EVERYWHERE!!!!! They are peeing on things in the stores so they will have to throw it out and then they go get the stuff that was thrown out. Thats horrible.

The bad thing is you dont know theyre rainbows till you get further into the conversation. And sometimes they wont tell you that they are rainbows and ask to just come pick up the goat. But like my mom said we will not let any stranger come out to the house to look/buy an animal untill the rainbows have all left for good. We dont want them knowing where we live.
