most of the universities have ag departments that include goats, however the research is like a treasure hunt. When you find the "good stuff" - it's like finding treasure. ^^ I like the OSU website - Oregon State University - but many times you find studies in pdf form just googling that are awesome.
Randi, you will also find a wealth of information at fiascofarm.com, they do not raise NDs, but do raise dairy goats. Some medicine doses etc. will differ because of this but otherwise you will find loads of stuff there that will be helpful to any one. They have a lot of experience and have published lots of info here to try to assist others. Super great people with a huge heart!
This last one is complete with pictures, and isn't for everyone, but it's a very detailed instructional on how to slaughter and process a goat, and the woman sharing it owns NDG. It was very helpful for me.
