I'm looking for a buck I could potentionally use for breeding Irena. My friend said I could use her buck, the problem is she is getting him in December. I want to breed Irena in December and need a backup plan incase she doesn't have Jackson yet. I'm 15 and I don't have a licence. My mom wants to find someone who is close by. We live outside of Luck, Wisconsin. It is near the North Eastern border I beleive, in Polk County WI. I was wondering if anyone new of a place that I could bring Irena too?
Thanks!

I contacted Debbie, she doesn't offer public stud's due too the risk of disease. I asked her if she knew of anyone but she hasn't gotten back to me. Thanks guys! :)
Thanks guys! I'll give it a try later. I contacted the breeder I got Irena from seeing if she new of anyone. Bushwhacker is pretty!
Yes, Payton, you should talk to Debbie Tonelli, for sure! I love that 14month old pic of Bushwhacker! He holds himself so pretty!
You can get her telephone number and email from here, and explore her site. Best wishes! :)
Payton, try going to goatfinder.com, click on the goatbreeders section there is a drop down menu of breeds where you can chose Nigerian, find the list of states and click on WI. You will find 13 different entrees for your state. Check for websites and there are phone numbers. See if you can find someone through there but don't settle for just anything. Get a good one or wait.
Remember most folks do have closed herds and won't breed for other people. So don't be to disappointed if you are turned down. But it is a start. Also, I would make sure to let them know right up front how old you are and that you show Irena. They may be more likely to help a youth with a show goat, so tell them as soon as you start talking to them ok. Best to you on your search, sweety! At least if you don't find one you have Jackson to fall back on and will just have to wait a few extra weeks. It could be a lot worse if it weren't for that,
