I have thought about breeding my does via AI as I only have two and can't justify getting a buck. A friend will lease me space in her tank, but anyone else had luck or tried AI?

Goat Chow shelf life

How long does Goat Chow stay good for? Depending on the code of course, but I have some that I haven't used since last November and wondering if I should toss it or use it?

Hi Lori,
I started a cheesemaking discussion in the "Home Dairy" section of the forum. If we talk over there, it'll make it easy for others to join in the discussion. I've been making cheese for seven years. Usually if chevre doesn't set up, it's because I either overheated the milk (anything more than 160, and you can forget it); or I didn't put it in the mold soon enough (anything later than 12 hours is bad, but 8-10 is best).

Thank you! It is my specialty! If my camera were working, I'd post some recent photos of my new cart - but alas, the card is broken.
