My bucklings eyelids..

Breeding question

My first freshener was bred in November but showed strong heat signs in December so was bred again and stood for the breeding. She is now two months away from kidding and is enormous! What are the chances the first breeding took but she still cycled

Early labor?

At 7:am I noticed that the doe had a thin string hanging. Now at 10:20 am she looks lije this. Not eating and in her house. Panting, some times standing sometimes laying down. Nothing is presenting , and an occasional contractions not close together.

cracked hooves?

sources of zinc?

I believe there is good amounts of zinc in both sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. Do you all just feed sunflower seeds because a) cheaper, b) easier to find or c) has MORE zinc than pumpkin seeds.

Preparing for babies
