My bucklings eyelids..

I'm hoping they are fine, but sometimes when I look at his eyes I think they look kind of off. Like, they're almost bulging out. He sees fine & everything. Maybe he has just more of a noticable membrane then my others? I attached pictures, please shed some light on his eyes. :D

  • I think it's a mistake a lot of people make about blue eyed kids. Unfortunately, even some breeders.

  • Bummer! His father had blue eyes, I was told he could carry the gene. :(
  • Another vote here for looks fine and is simply too stinkin' cute! ;)

And Rachel is correct about the blue eyes. Only a blue-eyed goat can have blue-eyed babies.

  • I also hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if your buck doesn't HAVE blue eyes, they will not produce blue eyed kids. At least one parent has to actually have blue eyes for babies to be born blue eyed.

  • He looks fine to me also. I think sometimes my boys look a little more "wild eyed" than my girls, but  he doesn't look any more so than I've seen my own look at times.

  • Haha, thanks Julia! He deff. likes to walk around with them bulging out looking like a mad man.
Thank you Julieanne! I'm excited that he was so flashy when he was born. He also carried a blue eyes gene, hoping for some blue eyed babies! :D

  • I'm a newb and don't know much, but I had to comment to tell you that your buckling is SOOOO cute!

  • Your googly-eyed boy looks fine to me ;)
