So finally my first goat Piper had two does under a bright moon on the 19th of this month...I am so happy for her....she is the best mom. I love these little kids they are so sweet and super friendly as Piper is very friendly also.

Thank you, Deborah. A good friend's husband took that photo and I am so glad he shared it with me; I have the click a fraction of a second too late also. That is the only kid from this year I am keeping. I am truly hoping she will be as good as milker as her mom (Summer) who has been a total surprise. My very shy yearling from last year not only had beautiful triplets as easily as births can happen but has been a fantastic mother and has turned into a great milker. Good supply and excellent milk stand manners. And she has gotten to be quite a love as well, so different in personality than a year ago. And she takes no nonsense from anyone anymore; she does not aggravate others but they better leave her (and her babies) alone though now it's just one baby. All the boys are gone to good homes. Your babies are just absolutely darling! (Mom is pretty as well.)
