Remember I am pretty much computer illiterate and electronically challenged, so if I am out of line because what I am asking is a lot of trouble I apologize. I JUST FIGURE FOR SOMEONE SO COMPUTER SAVVY, IT MIGHT NOT BE TO MUCH TROUBLE! BUT I have an idea. This is mostly for Deborah so lets not put pressure on but I thought I would place it here in case someone else wants to give an opinion as to it being of help to them or not. So, here goes, I personally would love it, if when we log on to our members page, we could Sort By State. We have so many members now, and it would be nice to find those closest to us, or perhaps in an area where we are visiting etc. easier than having to go through so many! Thereby making it easier to make friends and find mentors that we can get together with besides in our virtual world. JUST A THOUGHT ...REMEMBER no pressure. I could help but think of an very old song when I typed that. Can anybody guess the song from my new lyrics?...We all live in a virtual goat world, a virtual goat world,...LOL! Hint... You might need to be kind of old to know...

That is great - thank you, Deborah for setting up this way of finding each other. I just added mine (it was cool that I have a herd name to put in even though it is silly to have a herd name for three goats) and found another member from my home town, Wapato! Cool.
lol It's one of those things you have to do a billion times before it becomes second nature, I think. And then, as soon as you get the hang of it, they will change the site.

The advanced search has a place to put in a state, but unless a member has specifically put in the state they live in, they will not show up. This isn't something Deborah can make an adjustment to as far as I know... I don't think that's an option for admin to do through ning.
