Reference Photos

I have taken some reference photos because I'm a very visual person, and seeing what I should be looking for really helps me. Are there any photos you guys would like to see? I will try to keep them in mind this year...

A few on my list to capture:

udder changes during pregnancy
body changes and signs to look for indicating delivery is near
video of standing heat vs. non standing heat
using tails to determine healthy weight

Let me know if you have other things you would like help with... I'm no pro, but I have a good camera, and I'll work on getting pics if I can!

Your very welcome. Someone else put me onto this link and so thankful that finally someone posted pictures of the "ridge" that some breeds have. Hopefully disbudding will go better for us both this year Margaret. :)

Awesome, Debbie! Thank you so much for posting this link. I always wondered why one of Quills scurs is so far forward on his head. Now I am pretty sure I know why. It does say further down in that discussion that she has seen these ridges on some NDs also. I will be looking for those on my bucks. Once again, Thank You!

This is a wonderful idea and I know you will do a great job of it! Here are a few thoughts and perhaps you may like one or two, at least.

You might as well add: Vulva & Discharge changes during the heat cycle, since it is such a common topic and so imperative to learn about for successful breeding.
