Hello fellow goat lovers! My name is Debbie, I live in NW Florida and I have 2 Nigerian Dwarf does, 2 ND/Pygmy crosses and 1 recently-acquired registered ND buck. The oldest of our does is almost one year old. We have been trimming the outer hard part of their hooves as needed. We don't really know how to do this, except for what we have gleaned from youtube. But, one of my ND/Pygmy goats has an unusual hoof where one half of her hoof wants to roll over instead of standing flat. Anyone have any suggestions on how to correct this? Are we supposed to be sanding or somehow trimming the white middle of the hoof? Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Could you post a pic of that hoof so we can make sure that we understand what you mean. A picture is worth a thousand words after all! I would really like to SEE what you mean!
There is your picture, Debbie! Is this a picture of the goat in question?
