It's official!

We are goat parents:D  Our two does are home:D  The chocolate one is very nice, although looking at the photos it is not the one I chose... I think it is her sister... the little black and white is on the lighter/awkward side, but she is only 7 weeks old and has some growing to do.  She is mellow and very friendly -- quite the cuddler <3

  • Congratulations!  They are so much fun!  Double the fun with a baby AND kids =)
  • Congratulations on your goats, and welcome to the group!
  • I have to say the naked baby is cute with the goats, lol! Most of us have naked baby pictures somewhere or other, you can't help it sometimes. Your goats are lovely! I love that fluffy, cuddle stage :-)
  • HAHA:D  please excuse the naked baby... it was a warm day and she rolled in the mud in all her cloths and played in the goat water so we stripped her down Ode natural;D
  • I don't have any seeding issues when it's gone through all those stages, because the chickens take care of any seed that is in the spent hay, so by the time it gets to my garden, they have removed seed that would sprout by eating it all. lol

  • :D  great advice:D  do you have any issues with the alfalfa seeding?

ADORABLE!! Love your use of the tomato cage!! Use all the "waste" hay in your barn bedding, and then let your chickens scratch through THAT, and THEN use it as mulch in your garden!! My soil has never looked so good, and week control was never so easy. :)
