well, I thought I did so good with my 3/4" x 22 ga needles. Now, 3 weeks later, I notice a nice lump at the injection site. It was CD&T - did I inject too fast?
And I have noticed my doe due to kid is pooping alot and it is a darker green and wetter - is that normal? She is due the 9th.

well, I kept my potions in my pocket, and poop looks black again today :) Like I said, the Diamond V yeast - sounds awesome - but not giving a double dose would help considerably. Think I will keep all foodstuffs simple and basic for now. ^^
Oh, raisins are awesome for giving things they may not like. I mashed them up and make a ball.
well, thanks google - my memory didnt serve me too well. I dosed her double what I should have - no wonder.
It is Diamond V XPC yeast - I gave her 1 teaspoon - which is the dose for a 100 lb. animal. ouch. I just read how good it is for people too (well, not the one for animals) - maybe I should eat one of those raisin balls too. Thanks! I will stop all kindness for the time being and read my directions more carefully!

I used bar-vac, last year this didnt happen. I am thinking I injected it too fast.
Common sense told me maybe the pooping thing might be getting ready as you say. it isnt runny, but is more green than the usual black. I did feed her bout tablespoon of smashed up raisins 2 days in a row with Diamond Yeast in it. I wondered if that was the source? I thought I had read on here somewhere about different poop right before kidding.
Thanks and I accept your blessing of a easy kidding. :)
It is "normal" to have a lump at the injection site of a CDT. Don't do anything. It will go away.
Goat poop does not change near the due date. It should be the same color and still be berries/pebbles.
