Love the site..and so much awesome info. I just want to share with y'all Yes, I have been a lurker for a little while actually just about a week...but now I feel I can join in..I just got two Nigerian dwarfs..
One is two weeks old today and the other is a week old today..yes, little ones..
Their so adorable, and u can tell already two different personalities....
They are just already little busy bodies..I have them in the small bathroom when I go to bed..but mostly running around during the day..and my ole my..I plum forgot..they would be like having two loose puppies..hehehe
Tommorrow I will pick up an exercise pen..and place in my foyer..cause if they pee and poo one more time..lol
Everytime they do their thang..they feel the need to do their thang once again..within 5 minutes of being back in the house..lol
I meet with the breeders every couple of days to get more goats milk from their mommas..and they are doing great
Hope to get to know you all more
Big hugs

We are looking at different lines to breed our girls in the fall. We will probably end up going back to Barb at Cornerstone for this first breeding we do cause we know she has some good milking lines and excellent bucks to choose from and she is familiar with both our girls. I couldn't look at the pictures of your girls, my computer wouldn't let me connect to the site.
Lori,I got mime from..bucabuc farms and wooly dog farm...well,lol..not directly from wolly dog farm ..but thats where her mom and dad came from..and I cant for the life of me remember the name of the farm...
Iam sitting here, laying in bed on my iPad and drawing the biggest blank..oh oh oh, madcat farm..something like that..the owner her name is Diane and she is awesome..so instead of me being able to remember the name of the farm..I just go by her name then..lol, Diane..she has 3 more to find homes for..the most adorable boy ...I almost got him instead, but decided on two girls..but boy was I torn.
OH FOR CUTE!! They are precious!! Like salt and pepper shakers!! I love your "set"! Really cool that you're able to keep giving them momma's milk even though you've got them so young... I don't have kid experience (well. not the GOAT kind) yet, but from all I read on line... it seems the troubles really happen more when kids can't be/aren't kept on momma's milk for long enough. Really cool.
