  • Well, I have to go take a look at this magazine, maybe I need to get it too!

Ya'll are making me so jeolous talking about the Mother Earth Fair! I wish I could go, but that is a loooong way from me!

I can'twait for the book though! I know that even though we get to communicate with Deborah pretty much everyday that we will still learn so much. And I am hoping that it will help keep me from sounding silly so often about the subbjects I know so little about!

Gotta tell ya'll how crazy my children are. I pulled this discussion up on the screen and commented that I couldn't wait for the book to come out my Henry looked at the screen and I said "I'll have a piece in it".  He grunts "unt uh!" So amanda said "she will to", so he asked "what's it about?". Before I could spit out the word "slaughtering". My brilliant daughter answers, "about goats". DUH!

I so love that mini mancha on the front! He is such a doll. It just thrills me everytime I see that face!

  • Said through her website she'd have autographed copies :)

Yes, I LOVE the Mother Earth News Fairs! They have so many great speakers on so many topics -- and you have about a dozen from which to choose during every hour.

When the goat books become available in September, I will be selling autographed copies through my website.

Hope to see you at the Puyallup faire also. Already have the time down for the book signing. I wish I had the goat book already so I could get that signed too. Can't wait to read it, already pre-ordered :)

There is so much I want to do / see at the faire, I'm overwhelmed. I've got to sit down with my  highlighter and figure it out!

  • I'm so sorry  Wendi I over stepped here, and sorry to you Deborah, didn't mean to take away from this thread. The Lord continues to teach me to eat "humble" pie!  I guess I'm just excited for both Wendi and Deborah for some great publications that are coming out soon :)

  • Deborah, let me know if you do decide to sell autographed copies.  I'm sure I will be getting one for myself, but I would like to also get an autographed copy to use as a giveaway for the magazine.  I know some girls who would like a chance to get one! :)  We'd love to help you get the word out! :)

  • Oh, and Patty, Mary Jane's Farm is near us.  She's at one end of the county and we are at the other. :)  We are only about an hour apart!

  • Wow, I was gone for a bit and look what happened!  I was trying to be discreet and not take over Deborah's post about her book. lol  Thank you for the good word, everyone!  And, of course, I had to make our first barnyard section on NDs!

  • I can't tell you how thrilled I am about this magazine!  This is so needed, and I'm thrilled to be able to get it for my girls!!!  My eldest daughter is a huge fan of Mary Jane's Farm.  I am too, for that matter.  What I'm seeing so far with this is all the best of Mary Jane's Farm, but from a Godly perspective.  This will be so encouraging for our family, and I think I'll love it as much as they do.  Wendi, thank you very much for sharing this here. :)

We are coming out with a new print magazine for girls and we've done our first barnyard feature on NDs.  I went ahead and listed your book in the resource section.  I hope you don't mind!  It will be out in July/August. :)
