Halter training a wether

Hi,

 

we are ready to start training my daughter's little wether Buddy. This is our first time in a long time doing this and also our first time with a ND. I would LOVE any tips as far as training, halters, any videos,etc.

    About 10 years ago my son trained his Nubian wether to walk with him on hikes. I was hoping to do the same now with this little ND guy. My son was 11, I think. My daughter is now 7.

    Goats, unlike sheep, are not usually halter trained unless it is the first step in teaching them to drive. Is that the ultimate goal?
