Greetings from Nigeria!

Hi there,

yes, its true, I'm actually in Nigeria!  Just arrived in August (from Ireland) and we have 2 acres of land and couldn't resist the adorable little goats!  We currently have 2 pregnant females and hope to milk them - although funnily enough, no one here seems to milk them, or even to have heard of milking goats - they just drink cows milk!!

Looking forward to learning lots on this website,

Thanks

Katharine

  • Hi Beverly, I'll look out for Deborahs book, thank you!  We are in Plateau State, in the centre of the country, and are here for work.  It is of course different to Ireland!  But some things are similar, like lots of friendly people.  Enjoy your goats!

  • Welcome to this site.   I have found it so great - so many things learned from it.  Deborah has a great book on raising the little goats.  Maybe you already have that.   There must be an interesting story - a move from Ireland to Nigeria.    Where in Nigeria are you and I would love to hear how you came to move there.

  • WELCOME!!
