I am getting ready for my breeder to bring her buck over for a few weeks to visit my girls. In her email of his food requirements she said he has Ez pells as do all of her goats and that I should be feeding mine this also. Has anyone heard of Ez-pells and can explain there use to me please. Thanks. Not something I have seen mentioned on here before.

Well stopped at my feed store today. And they carry ez pells. It is made by blue seal. They didn't know what it was, had no literature on it. But said that it is sold for goats and they thought it was for there hooves and coat. Back to that horable blue seal website.
Jess, I am pretty confused about what this is, but if you will contact these people I think they might can help you. This should be the nearest Blue Seal dealer to you. From what I get on line they should be within a few miles of where you are.
Hope this helps. BTW I do not like how there website is set up. No wonder you can't find anything. That site is weird the way they want you to put in the species and protein and fat content you are looking for etc. That is so strange. It's like you need to KNOW what you are hunting when you go to the site. Yet I still could not find this stuff.
My nearest dealer was almost 400 miles from me, so I guess I won't want any of this! Happy Hunting!
She said she knows of many breeders that are using it at a 5:1 ratio 5 parts grain 1 part pells. She said she dosen't know exactly what is in it but it has been wonderful for there coats. While trying to find info on line today I have found several mentions of it on other local breeders websites. Even our largest breeder old mountain farm mentions it but I just can't find an ingredients list anywhere. Found it mentioned sever times on goat world also. ??? Why wouldn't it be listed on the blue seal website?
Jess, can you not just contact them and request some more information about this. I would really like to know what they mean. And as you said..."why they are adding it to the feed". Without knowing what they are talking about, it is impossible to even guess as to why they are using it in their feeding program. I am certain they would want to help make sure you know what it is if they plan on your using it also.
I'm not sure this is the same. I'm fairly sure it's a blue seal feed but can't find a brake down anywhere online or even an explication for why they are adding it to the feed.

Looks like she's talking about these? http://www.smartpakequine.com/smartvite-ez-keeper-grass-pellets-789... And they are for horses... (not that this is BAD... just something to note) Here's a nutritional break down... http://www.smartpakequine.com/charts/multivitaminssuppcompare.aspx I had to check two things to show it so I could read the content... I don't understand the Copper amount... if that's in Parts Per Million, then it's WAY bad... Sweetlix Meat Maker has 1,750ppm and I buy it because it's the highest I can get. http://www.jefferslivestock.com/images/label/0029517.htm
Never heard of it either. Curious about the answers you will get on this one!
