SafGard Home Milk Cream Pasteurizer Model P-2000 2 QT to 2 GAL - Agitator

I just bought this, and it has no manual.  It does heat up and all.  Do I put water in a sleeve??  Do I just put the bucket it, and turn the handle to the right?  I've always done it in double boiler, so this convenience is new to me.

  • Did you call the company?

  • Still O luck finding a manual for mine.    My only real concern is if mine is meant to be cooled with water.  It has the same look as the other safgards, but only 2 gal. size, perfect for my small herd.

  • If you do a search for the name of it and the word "manual" in the request, there is a good chance you will find one.  Often manualsd are available as a free download and there are also some for sale.  Check eBay often for one.

  • Cool! Someone gave me a vintage 1950s cream separator, which is missing one part! I searched online and found the owner's manual, which someone had scanned in. Apparently there are people who collect antique cream separators.

If you can't find that, I'd suggest using it with water to see how hot it gets.

  • I would try the manufacturer for an instruction manual if no one here can help!

  • It cut me off!  Its a p-2000, and I just got it.  No manual, but does work.  Problem is, I don't know how to work it for sure, and I'm scared, so help me if you can please.
