disbudding

This was my first time ever disbudding.  I disbudded Shamrock on May 4.  One of his scabs fell off last night.  I'm wondering if these pics will help show you all what it looks like.  If you can, please let me know if it looks right.  It is sort of a rubbery raised area, nothing hard.  I'm nervous about doing it good enough, and not getting scurs.  Thanks for any input you have. :)

  • So, does all of your silence mean this looks normal and I have nothing to worry about? ;)

  • What is a "blood horn"?  I was trying to see pics of normal disbudded kids post scab when I ran across a comment that someone's kid had a blood horn and they were going to have to disbud again?
