I found this ad on a local online classifieds site. I can only imagine that the person who posted it doesn't know much about goats. Or farm animals in general. And as much as I hope that they don't get a response to their ad, if they do I really wish I could invisibly watch it. The idea makes me laugh in horror. I do understand why they think it would be funny, but... the poor goat...
Looking for Goat ** Fundraiser**
Looking for a middle age goat to use for a goat raffle for a youth organization(Army Cadets) . Looking for someone to donate for free. The goat may come back to the donator in the event that no one wins** Idea of raffle, is you buy tickets for a co-worker/family/friend/ anyone. Our organization will go to the person place of work and give the winner the goat, if they do not want the goat they can pay a small cost to have it given to a friend/co-worker. At the end of the day if no wants the goat it may have to go back to the person who donated it.

I get what you are saying! It does totally have a funny side to it! I can just see this. Kind of like a charity auction only people trying to get rid of something instead of keeping it! They should use a stinky buck for this. Actually, if they had someone willing to be stuck with it, if all else failed and payed a few bucks for one that seemed neglected it could be a good way to get it a good home! Me, always trying to think of the positive side! I really can visualize this thing being paid for over and over to be gotten rid of...poor goat... but as you said..I would love to watch! Hope they film and post this! Opposite reactions to winning a sweepstakes or lottery!
