I just had a first freshner kid with 2 does and a buck the first one came out breach before I could get it turned around one of its back legs were out I had to help get the other leg out and help pull the next doe come out fine without any help. The big bucks nose was down and I had to go in and help get his nose up so she could get him out. This is the most I have ever had to help a doe. My question is should I give her antibotics to prevent a infection. I did were gloves and did not go in very far but I dont want her to get a infection. Should I just watch her closely. All the kids are very healthy and mom is doing fine. They went to nurse with in minutes of birth.

I'm confused about why you were trying to turn the breech kid. When you say the nose was down. Do you mean the top of the head was pressing to come out with the chin pressing toward the chest?
Anyways, CONGRATULATIONS on your kids and hope all goes well.
I'm not completely clear on what you did, but if you were wearing brand new, clean gloves, and you only put in two or three fingers up to a couple of knuckles, that's probably not enough to be an issue.
And you don't need to turn breech kids. About 1/4 of the kids I've seen born are breech, and they come out just fine. Odd are much worse that you could do damage trying to turn a breech kid around.
