Zoe presented us with a buck and a doe just before 5PM. She was a surprise kidder since I expected she wouldn't take when she kept coming back into heat. She is already being a great mother!

Oh my! How sweet. I have a doe that I thought I bred to my buck in December. She didn't come into heat again and then last month she did. Soooo, I bred her again. Now I'm not sure what to think. I am still milking her but she looks rather "large". I guess I'll just be surprised too.
Congratulations! I had a doe like that a couple years ago. I had my calendar marked for September kidding, and wasn't even paying attention to her udder or anything -- got quite a surprise on July 3!
