I wormed my doelings last week (Ivermectin, one dose of either 2 or 3 ml...can't remember, but followed instructions). One of them coughed right afterwards, and ever since then she has had this occasional cough (several times a day). I'm really worried I got it in her lungs and that she is developing pneumonia. Perhaps this is paranoid of me, but I'm discovering that goats are like little kids - you really need to stay on top of what is happening with them. Should I take her to the vet for a listen?
Thanks for any input.

She is fully normal...eating, bleating, running around. I guess I was more worried that she might be in the early stages of pneumonia, with just a slight cough right not, but getting sicker....I know I am acting like a new parent, but I guess I will stop worrying until she actually starts acting sick.
My goats cough when the pen gets dusty, or they "inhale" their hay too fast!! Just some instances that might help you put your mind at ease if you answered yes to Deb's Q...

A goat with pneumonia is a sick animal, so ... is she walking around, eating, chewing her cud, and generally acting goatie?
