I've had it available for my goats in a separate mineral feeder for 5-6 years now. They don't go through it as fast as the mixed minerals -- until the mixed minerals run out. Then they go through really fast.
CD&T is once a year. My vet had told me to do babies 1cc SQ at 4 weeks and 1 cc SQ at 8 weeks. A booster once a year.
I no longer use BoSe - I keep out selenium free choice and add BOSS to their grain, also a high quality loose mineral free choice. I had heard that BOSS was high in selenium but not sure on that. I keep selenium gel on hand if a baby looks like it needs it but haven't used any all this year. I live in Oregon - selenium deficient but have no problems so something is working.
I am a little lax on shots -do the babies but after a lot of lumps doing my does I haven't done them in awhile. I keep anti toxins on hand for T and for CD. If you read Deborah's book she doesn't do a lot either and has healthy goats. Everyone's choice is different.
