With all the feed issues going on and TSC discontinuing our current bagged feed I am considering sprouting grains to feed to my girls in milk. Right now I don't have anyone in milk but when we have babies again in the spring then I may do it. Does anyone here use sprouted whole grains for their lactating does and if so what kinds do you use?

Lori, search for "feeding pregnant does" discussion, started by Traci Gardner. There is a link in there to a short video and I think some discussion on the subject. I am pretty sure there are some other discussions with a little info in them also. I wouldn't mind knowing a lot more about this myself. I have never heard of it except these few times. It is a very interesting concept. I suppose I should research it online.
Someone posted about this a year or two ago, and they were actually doing it. I think they even posted photos. I don't remember who it was though. You could try using the search box in the upper right hand corner, although it's not the best search engine I've ever used.
