Rehoming fee?

What do people ask for in a rehoming fee?

With a heavy heart I need to find a new loving home for my small herd of super sweet awesome Nigerian milkers.  Initially I wanted to sell them at their market value as milkers, perfect for someone wanting to start out.  4 does, the Dam is now retured (she is 11) and 3 of her daughters (6,6 and 3years).  They are from top established milk lines (Sugarmoon, Old Mountain, Promisedland).  But after searching in my area (western MA) for 6 months, there is no inetrest.  I have however had many inquiries from people interested in taking them on as pets and brush clearers.  Thats where the rehoming fee comes in.  Any thoughts, suggestions, advice?

At  the end of the day, you know your situation as far as how fast the transfer needs to happen, and that will likely decide your rehoming fee.
It sounds like you have interest, so that is a good starting point! Perhaps decide on a percent off  of market like 30%, and then negotiate from there.
We wish you the best of luck :)
