How much Probios do you give your kids when they are 5 days old? I looked in the Fias Co Farm page and it said 5 grams but I'm not sure if that is for standard size goats or both.

Hmm .... well, you don't have to do it, and their rumen keeps working just fine. :)
On Fias Co Farms website it says that you should give them Probios when they are 4 0r 5 days old, so that's what I did. They don't have any health problems it just says it help their rumen get going.
Probios isn't exactly a drug, so the "dosage" isn't that exact, but I'm curious what's going on that makes you feel the need to give them probiotics. Kids that age only need fresh mama's milk. Is something else going on?
I've been giving after each feeding (on bottle) a small squeeze ,little larger than a pea in the side of their mouth this is also after 2 ml of di-mox .Ready to stop as they are acclimated to their feeding /surroundings. Thank you, hope it helps
