So my ND Piper just finished her date with the buck Beau and I noticed her back toe (what is the hard top I called it the nail) was broken and loosely attached to the flesh underneath...Not sure what to do (it is an area about the size of a human thumb nail right in the middle of the toe) I iodined it...I need a goat doctor book....any advice other than that would be much appreciated
I am on my first goat guys and feel a little like I am tredding water.
She isn't limping and it doesn't seem to bother her.

Well I trimmed her hooves recently and the broken piece is still in place and looks fine...no infection...so I am just leaving it alone...I think the iodine right a way was the way to go
Just noticed this message. How is Piper doing now?
