Brownie gave me twin does about 9pm last night! :) The delivery went really well, and Brownie is always a wonderful mom. It didn't take them long to get up and find food. I'm ecstatic to get does! I'd only gotten bucks from her until now. My only complaint is the shavings, which get stuck on everything. But we were out of other bedding and the only source of straw we could find wanted $11/bale.
Her kids get dessert or chocolate themed names, so the first one born is named Oreo. She is black with an almost perfect white belt. She was born with one leg back. My mom, who has the smallest hands, was attempting to find the leg and bring it forward when a big push got her out anyway.
The second born's name is Cookie, and she came shooting out like greased lightning. She's a bit smaller, and she has a goatee that looks like she spilled milk down her chin. One of the kids will be for sale later when they're weaned. It will probably be Cookie, because my mom is already attached to Oreo after being the one to help her out.
