I was wondering what is the average time it would take to milk 5 does for morning milking? Lets just assume its a mixture of FF and 2nd year does. Just a average will do. I am only milking two FF and looking at adding to my herd for next year. I am new and only have been milking about two weeks but I am SLOW. It takes me about 25 minutes now. oh ya and thats with my son helping me. I know I will get better but wondering what my morning may look like next spring. Thanks for the help. Angie

Five goats would take me about 30 minutes. Right now we're doing 14 in about an hour, 15 minutes, so just a bit more than 5 minutes per doe, including time between goats.
I'm still slow myself, but I am guessing for myself, once I get better, I can count on an average time of 10-25 min per doe... but I could be way off. :)
