I have a fabulous nd buck. He was a 4H goat so is very.sweet and halter trained and what not. I was considering purchasing mini nubian does for him next year. Any thoughts? They are more easy for me to find than nd does, or should I just hold out for nd does. I want to meet my.families dairy needs. We will probablt butcher our own wethers, so slaughtering costs dont need to be factored in. thanks for opinions.

I am quite far from you in the low deserts of southern california. I have been finding older does, like 5 and up, for sale on craigs list and im okay with not getting a kid or doeling (especially if they are already trained =) )
