I was thinking of using a marking harhess this year for the buck who will be living with the does he will breed to get a better isea of due dates. Has anyone frund a harness that works well for our small size goats?

The harness has a marker, a patch of waxy crayon material, that marks the doe whan the buck mounts the heer. That way it's possible to see which does have been bred and when
I don't know anything about harnesses but am curious as to what they are used for? How does a harness help with due dates?
Well I went ahead and ordered a marking harness. It's this one and has worked well, but I made one mistake.

Tightening some of the straps as much as they will go, it fit my 2 1/2 year old buck and worked. The first doe to come into heat was marked the morning after I thought she was in standing heat. The next two should be in heat this week. This harness would probably be too big for a young Nigerian buck that was not full grown. Also I did have to cut extra off the straps after it was on because they were dragging on the ground. I should have removed the harness before I cut off the extra length of the straps and singed or stitched the ends because they are unravelling and the harness will need repair or replacing before I can use it again because the straps are a mass of strings.
No problem! I changed it! Sorry I can't help you with your question though. I've seen the harnesses in various catalogs but have no idea if they work with NDs.
Oh darn, i posted this in dairy not breeding. Anyone know how to move it to the right place?
