Hi!
I am counting the days until I pick up my doe and twin doelings (not the daughters of the doe). It is less than three weeks now! I was just going to get the doelings, but stumbled across a doe from Poppy Creek in GA. She has some good milking lines in her so I hope she will work out! Anyway, I am so excited and somewhat nervous. I am a homeschooling mom of 7 children (1.5 years to 16 years). We live in a neighborhood in the county so the ND just seemed to be the perfect choice. We already have Muscovy duck, quail, chickens, 3 dogs, 2 cats and a hedgehog. I am looking forward to learning about the ND. I have been researching for several months now. I hope I am up to the challenge!!!!

Congratulations and welcome! These little goats will steal your heart =) What a great opportunity for your home-schooled children - hands on experiences in animal husbandry.
How old is the doe you are getting? Are there others nearby who have NDs or are you the first in your area?
