I am sure this is not the right place to put this, and I have been reading the other discussions to try to get this answer, but I'm running out of daylight and just need to get it done.
So, I am treating my two pregnant does (due to kid in 5 weeks) for lice. I bought Ivermectin pour on for cattle and some small syringes (sans needles :). I believe I read that the dosage is double the cattle dosage, which is 1 ml/22lbs.
So, I will be dosing 2ml/22lbs, by squirting this stuff right on the skin between the shoulders. Is this correct?? Or do I squirt it all down the spine to the tail head?

I pour down the whole spine, but I can't remember off the top of my head if that's what I read on the box. lol
A lot of people do say to do it again in 10 days to 2 weeks to kill lice that have hatched, but I have never done that, and everyone seemed to be fine. When it is warm enough outside, you can get rid of lice by shaving off the hair, which is what is done when showing goats anyway.
also, do i need to re-dose in a week or 10 days or whatever to kill the lice that hatched after initial treatment?
