Hello! My name is Randi and I live in south central Kansas. I live on the "right" side of the city boundary road, on one sweet little acre, with my husband and three kids, 1 dog, 1 cat, 4 hens , and our most recent additions, 2 Nigerian dwarves.
I have a friend who owns dairy goats and who also originally gave me the goat "fever". After a year of reading and begging my husband, I finally made the plunge! We brought home our first bouncy, fuzzy, gray sweetie last spring, who we named Dolly, and soon after added a brown and white skittish, dainty little cutie, who we won over with raisins and named Molly Moo (because her coloring so resembles a cow).
So far the learning curve has been steep, but I'm really loving the process and I'm having so much fun! I am so excited to have found this community of wisdom, advice and support!
