Glad to be joining you

Hello from Western PA. We'll be getting a couple Nigerians soon, hoping to supply our own milk and experiment with cheese making. We're starting small to see if goat raising is a good fit. It is a new adventure for us so I'm glad to have found this group for support! Thanks for your notes of welcome.

    Hello from the beautiful Endless Mountain region of Northeast Pa., Lake Como to be exact. I began my goat adventure last spring and it has become a wonderful experience!

    Welcome! There have been some good discussions here lately about choosing goats. You'll probably find a lot of useful info in the "Goats 101" forum. Be sure to post pictures of your new goats when you bring them home!

    Welcome! If you are wanting milk production, make sure you get your does from folks that milk and really know the capacity of their does.
