We had our first kids today at 5:30 and a little past 5:45. Two precious little doelings. First one is as white as a lamb, then the second is tricolored. Our biggest challenge is that it is to be in the tens tonight with clear skies. Two heat lamps and planks across the top to keep them extra warm tonight. The four brothers on the farm (13 to age 2) all were there and assisted with blankets. Mama is now a mama for the second time. We have only had her four months and the previous owner did not know if she had been breed or not. Yahoo! Fresh milk before too long! Pictures to follow soon.

I have more to add latter, we had triplets early this morning from Allis, 2 bucks and 1 doe. I am concerend about one ear, it just flops. I will add more details with this birthing with photos later.
