Farm logos

So I have recently been thinking about making a farm logo and wonder how other people went about doing this? Did you get someone to make one for you, make one yourself? Did you use a program? Any input would be a great help! :D

  • My farm is named after an imaginary monster my husband and his brother made up when they were kids. The MigMog lives on with our own kids, and my logo is a drawing my now 14 year old drew when he was about 5 or 6. Turns out, MigMog is an actual word, and it's Brittish slang for a little person. Which, seeing as we have miniature goats, is kind of fitting.

I scanned my son's drawing into the computer, and then I used a mixture of ipiccy.com and picmonkey.com for my editing.

  • Thank you. :)

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think so. I tried to find stock-type images. I also changed them a good bit, and used them as a base. Hopefully I won't run unto trouble!

Yours is really cute!!! Do you have to worry about copy infringement using silhouettes like that?

  • Mine isn't perfect, but I made it using stock image silhouettes from the internet. I played around with them until they looked how I wanted and were positioned correctly. I'd like a professional to one day make it smoother, because I don't have the skills or editing tools to fix that, but overall I'm pleased. I can lived with a little pixelation around the edges. :)2771473447?profile=original
