False pregnancy questions

One first Freshener- Gabby produced triplets but our Xena also a first freshener had a positive pregnancy test in December but no babies and ultrasound showed no fetus.  My problem is she seems to be a hormonal mess.  She is behaving like a buck alternating with acting like she is in heat.  She is mounting our two wethers Harley and Tobi and the new mom Gabby.  Any ideas of anything I can do to calm down this little goat?  There is no peace in the barn right now.  Below are the triplets, Gordy, Ardie, and Jeannie.Gabby.  There is no peace in the barn right now.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to calm her down.  Any nutritional things I am missing or any way I can help her calm down.

  • Sorry to hear about the problems. I'm new to goats so i dont have much advice, but the triplets are adorable!
  • I have a doe that does exactly all this. She even got pregnant, but passed mummified twins a month after her due date. I've given her penicillin, wormer, double copper doses and selenium, etc... but to no avail. I'm not saying that this will be your experience... just that I can relate. For my doe, I think that she has difficulties with her mineral balance. She's always lighter than she should be, more coarse than the rest, etc. She's four years old now, and I won't be breeding her again. In the four years that I have had her, I have bred her probably three times a year since she was a year old. She has only gotten pregnant once, and aborted or miscarried about a month before she was due. (she had started to develop her udder) She torments all my does... chasing them everywhere, trying to mount does that are due to kid any day... etc. She's a terror. When she's in heat, she is literally DRIPPING out her hind end. I realized that I am basically putting a lot of time and effort into a doe that will potentially end up passing these genetics on to her kids, and that's not the kind of genetics I want to build my herd with, so we'll be culling her this year. :(
