My goats last got their copper bolus (4g) in early February. 3 months ago.
Is it possible that being pregnant and nursing - the girls need more copper sooner than the "normal" 4-5 months?

Yep, I have a couple goats that def. need copper more than others. Right now, my whole herd just got dosed, but I have a couple that need more.
I would not say that 4-5 months is normal. There is no one-size-fits-all copper dosage. My goats need copper 3-4 times per year, but some herds don't need it at all. Several of my goats start to lose the color in their coat after about 3 months, so I know I need to dose them. (Red goats turn cream!)
