Took my yearling to be bred today...
I'm pretty sure I caught her at the start of her heat. She accepted the bucking 3 times that I saw... and possibly a couple more. They are both young, although he's a proven buck already. Now the wait to see if she will settle. :)
ALSO: I'm feeling more and more confident that my older doe is pregnant. I think the "heat" I worried about was actually her reaction to the doe I just bred being in heat last month. Fingers crossed!! She'd be due in October if she's settled. Nice time for kids. Not too cold yet.
