thank you guys so much. that is exactly what i seen but i thought it was larger. thats why i was confused.

patty ,sarah everyone loves the gray agouti (female), i love the black one, he's got like a 80's rod stewart hairdo.

Congratulations! And sorry that you lost that other kid... that's a huge bummer. But those two are beautiful! I love the gray agouti colored one

The doe may possibly have eaten it. The placenta on a goat is sort of like a long rope with dark red colored nodules on it. There is only one, and it passes after all the kids are born. Here's a photo I found on the web. When you found her, was there anything hanging out that looked like this? If there was, and you didn't stay to see what happened to it, chances are it passed and she ate it, or she may have eaten it before you got there. Best wishes!

I have a question. My doe had triplets. When I went into birthing room. 2 were alive and 1 was dead. My question is the babies have sacs when they are born .is there a placenta on the baby, mom or both. I didn't see the placenta pass. But seen a sac off to side. Is that considered the placenta? Any help would be much appreciated thanks Dion
