  • That's a good article! The video is interesting and informative as well. We have two Great Pyreneese LGDs. We needed dogs that could protect our livestock and at the same time be safe with friends that come over. When we are home they're friendly to all who come. When were gone they're standoffish even with those they've met before. London, my male, is 7.5 months or so and he's up all night keeping an eye on the place; he's passed out sleeping during the day. My female, Willow, who is penned with the goats, is up and around and aware of what's going on. They're working well for us. London wanted to play with my chickens until we got Willow. After we got her he's never played with them again.
