I have oxytetracycline on hand. Anything else I would have to get and depending on if it is available locally, not sure how long it would take to get it here. Question, Should I give mom antibiotics since I had to go after that bent leg or not, and if so will this kind work or not and how much how many times? Thanks!

Oxytetracyline usually works fine for uterine infections. If it's LA-200 or Biomycin, it's usually 4 cc per 100 pounds every other day for three doses if she has an infection/fever. It's hard to say whether she needs it or not at this point. Some people give a single dose prophylactically whenever they go in. They don't usually get a fever for a couple of days. If I ever have to stick my hand in a doe, I wear a glove and completely drench it in iodine, which kills a lot, and we've only ever had one doe get an infection, but she also wasn't the healthiest doe. It was a problem goat, and I bought her when I was new.
