We had all pretty much resigned ourselves to the idea that Butter was really not pregnant and just had some weird stretched all out of shape and fat disease or something when all of a sudden she looks like this. We do know there IS a real possibility of ex-poser later than we thought. Now what do we all think of this? To refresh our memories I have first re-posted a pic from about 8 weeks ago and now have a look see at this mornings pic! Notice not only the udder but how puffy everything up top is too, compared to earlier. Am I seriously over hoping here or is this for real? Is the FAT just SPREADING or is she PREGO? Now re-cast votes please!

Don't know exactly, Deborah, the breeder does pen breeding because she has such a demanding job at the hospital and large farm and all. She is a single lady with hired hands, so it would be to hard to catch them all in heat. She thought she was due in June because she had not seen her come back in season. But I guess she missed it and the buck didn't.
Well, it could always be a precocious udder, because that can happen. However, her vagina is looking puffy now. See the difference in the two photos? So, I'm voting pregnant now. It could still be another 4-6 weeks though based on the size of the udder and the shape of her belly. Do you know when she was exposed to a buck?
Well, Debbie it might interest you to know that the breeder agrees. I sent her a message with both pics, since as I told her, she knows Butter better than anyone. After all Butter has had kids about 5 or 6 times before and so she should know. Her exact response was ..."She is bagging up. :)" I know this is a relief to her, bless her heart I know sometimes I drive her nuts. But she is one really terrific person. She has been so patient and good to us.
My vote.....that she is going to be a Mama and your going to be a goat grandma again :)
